About Tom

Tom Mallard is a drummer based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. He has been drumming for over 13 years and has experience in live, studio, and concert environments. He has played in many local bands, with genres ranging from prog-rock to pop-punk, gigging all over the South-West; as well as playing drum kit in orchestras and brass bands, partaking in professional concert competitions as part of a large ensemble.

Tom completed a BSc (Hons) Degree in Music Technology in 2012, during which, for his final major project, he wrote a book exploring exercises, beats and fills in uncommon time signatures for the drum kit, and recorded an accompanying audio CD for his book.
